MOSFET stands for MOSFET. MOSFET metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor, abbreviated as metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET).

MOSFETs, also known as metal oxide semiconductor field-effect transistors, are important electronic devices. Its working principle is based on the interface effect between semiconductor materials and metal electrodes.
MOSFETs are composed of three main components: metal electrodes, oxide layers, and semiconductor materials. The metal electrode is located above the oxide layer, which covers the semiconductor material.
The working principle of MOSFETs is to control the current in semiconductor materials by controlling the electric field on the metal electrode. When a voltage is applied to a metal electrode, an electric field will be formed. This electric field will affect the charge distribution in semiconductor materials.
When a positive voltage is applied to a metal electrode, the electric field will attract electrons in the semiconductor material. These electrons will form an electronic channel in the semiconductor material, allowing current to flow. This state is called "on".
On the contrary, when a negative voltage is applied to a metal electrode, the electric field will repel electrons in the semiconductor material. This will cause the electronic channels to close and the current cannot flow. This state is called "closed".
By controlling the voltage on the metal electrode, we can achieve the opening and closing of current in MOSFETs. This makes MOSFETs an important switching device widely used in electronic devices.
In summary, the working principle of MOSFETs is to control the current in semiconductor materials by controlling the electric field on the metal electrode. This principle makes MOSFETs an important electronic device used to turn on and off current.
